Buying expired domains for PR, does it still work?
There are many great aspects to this subject, which we will review carefully so that you may get the most from it.
Ive done some experiments over the forgotten few months about expiring fields with PR to see if it is appeal your while to clasp these expired and scrapd fields.
My idea why I would like to use expired fields is the notion that old fields are superior than new fields, and to get direct PR.
So I set out to find scrapd fields with PR that I can transmit. One characteristic of fields I was looking for was that the field still had a PR, and it was still scheduled in google.
Before we go an further, lets take a moment to review what we have learned so far about this amazing subject.
I wont be mentioning the actual fields here as I necessary to monitor the fallout and inhibit people from making backlinks to these fields.
I transmited about 4 fields, some have PR2 and PR3. Some have a few pages signed, some have a few thousand. I also bought a pair of new fields for my new projects.
I found out that google seldom visits these fields so I necessary to heyday it but with some creative backlinks. After creating some backlinks to these fields, two fields eventually perplexed their PR. These two fields have only a few pages signed in google. In one field, I did a 301 eternal redirect to the new sign page. This field retained its PR. One key difference this field has compared to the other two is that this field has thousands of pages signed in google.
In another field, I did a 301 and redirect it to a creative new field. The product is that the new field got signed earlier and more pages were signed compared to another new field I transmited at the same time. However, PR was down to 0.
There is also a suit where I did a 301 redirect from an old scrapd field with PR and never got any profit from it.
In conclusion, there is still conflicting fallout on whether buying scrapd/expired fields. Some machinery, some dont. However, what appear to work is that
a. Old scrap fields does have transfer from unfilled backlinks. If the old field has tons of backlinks, it still does breed some transfer.
b. Other pursuit engines such as yahoo and msn do not appear to have an biases against expired/scrapd fields.
